I believe that when people learn to take care of themselves, they become better equipped to care for everyone around them. I embrace creativity, flexibility, and goals in my approach with clients. I meet you where you are, build on your existing strengths, and work alongside you as a partner in the process. I take the success of the people I work with seriously, and I genuinely go the extra mile to help you create new meaning and value in your life.

I came to this work with a deep belief that every person holds untapped strengths and resources and my job is to help you find them, not hand you a formula. My approach is integrated and person-centered, which means I tailor how we work together to fit your specific needs rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model. I'm goal-driven and purposeful in our sessions, but I also believe the therapeutic relationship works best when it's built on genuine respect, trust, and even a little humor along the way.

I work with adults from all walks of life and all kinds of experiences. What I love most about this work is watching someone move from feeling stuck or held back by their history to becoming comfortable in their own skin and free to show up fully in their relationships and their life. I deeply value clients who are willing to take risks and try new things, and I bring that same curiosity and openness to every session I facilitate.

Outside of the therapy room I am someone who thrives on new experiences, shares joy whenever I can, and adapts well to change. I get restless when things stop moving ... which is probably why I find such meaning in helping people get unstuck. I believe that a healthier individual makes for a healthier community, and that every step forward you take ripples outward in ways you may not even see yet.

​I take appointments at our Port Huron counseling center location and I am available for virtual telehealth appointments for anyone throughout Michigan who cannot make it to our in-person offices.
