Our Story
Meet Roberta Wolschon
NHCC Founder
My path here started with a daycare, grew through nine years at Macomb County Head Start, and was shaped by personal loss I never could have planned for. I earned my Master's in counseling in 2008 and opened New Horizons in 2010. New Horizons was not just as a career move for me. It was a dream I had of creating space in the world where everyone could get the support and acknowledgement that they deserve.
Today, New Horizons is a family-built practice. My husband Mike has been part of the foundation from day one. My son Devin, who grew up alongside this center, now serves our clients as a therapist on our team.
